It takes faith to receive anything from God according to Hebrews 11:6 which says without faith it is impossible to please God, but faith itself cannot produce anything without hope. It is what you hoped for that faith delivers to you, did you get my point? Anyone that is hopeless is helpless. If you are hopeless concerning any situation, you will be helpless in that situation. This is because when you give up on any issue in life, even God cannot help you. You know why? Without faith it is impossible to please Him and without hope there is no faith. If you are hopeless concerning any situation, don't expect any help from God. So, be hopeful.

It is gainful to wait on God concerning any issue of concern in our life. Wait on God means to patiently look unto Him for what we need and the way out of any challenge we find ourselves. King David recognized why he had to wait on the Lord. Firstly, he said he will wait on God because his salvation came from Him (Ps. 62:1). David learned that no one else could deliver him. His only hope was in God (Ps 62:5), for God alone hears our prayers (Ps 62:8). For these reasons, he learned to wait on God.

Today I want us to examine deeper the story of Isaac and see the secrets that he traded that made him to enjoy an enviable increase in his generation. The first thing to note in the life of isaac is the fact that "he had a plan." His plan was to go down to Egypt in search of greener pasture because of the famine that was biting the land so hard. But God interrupted his plan. To Isaac, Egypt looked very attractive and a place to be, away from famine, but to the Almighty God who sees what no one else sees, the land of Gerar was the place where Isaac’s increase and prosperity had been divinely planted.

Still on the story of the feeding of five thousand men, today's anchor scripture revealed that Jesus blessed the five loaves of bread and the two fishes before giving them to the disciples to share to the multitude. The implication is that for anything it multiply it must first be blessed by God. Jesus received the five loaves from them and blessed it. I have no doubt that those that put the word of God to work during the month must have experienced their own portion of open heaven. It is God's wish to keep the heaven over us open. When the heaven over you is opened, God rains down ideas, wisdom, favour, blessings, power for accomplishment and power to create wealth. As you know, the purpose of rain is for fruitfulness, this means that open heaven guarantees
