ANOINTED WITH POWER

TEXT: "How God anointed Jesus of  Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him" (Acts 10:38)

June is our month of Power. The Power of the Holy Spirit shall come upon you afresh this month and the unimaginable shall happen in and around you, in Jesus name. 

Let me emphasise again this morning that the power of God in our lives is not an option, it is something we must all have to fulfil destiny. Our Lord Jesus did not start the journey of destiny until He was anointed with power. He was in the Carpenter's shed for 30 years with people who had little knowledge about who He really was. But as soon as He was anointed with Power from on high, we are told that His destiny opened up.

"And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about....And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son? (Lk 4:14-22).

Your future is not certain without God's Power on your life. In other words, your destiny is determined by the dimension of the Power of God at work in you. Hear me beloved; your life is not man-determined, it is not satan-determined either; your life, my life is Power-determined. You can be frustrated in life when you lack the Power of God. Every assignment, project or mission you embark upon without the power of God will end in frustration for by strength shall no man prevail (1Sam 2:9).

I'm sure you are familiar with the story of Moses in the Bible. He was raised in the Egyptian palace miraculously because of the assignment that God had for him. Yes, when he was 40 years old, he understood clearly what his mission was and he embarked on it but without Power. As a result of this he became fugitive for 40 years until he had encounter with God in the burning bush who sent him back with a rod, a symbol of power. By this, he was able to lead the children of Israel out of the land of bondage. Beloved child of God, if you will accomplish your mission, dreams, aspiration, desire in life, you need to be anointed with Power.

PRAYER: I declare the release of the Power of God on your life from today in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
