TEXT: "Anyone who is among the living has hope-even a living dog is better off than a dead lion" (Eccl 9:4 - NIV) 

It takes faith to receive anything from God according to Hebrews 11:6 which says without faith it is impossible to please God, but faith itself cannot produce anything without hope. It is what you hoped for that faith delivers to you, did you get my point? Anyone that is hopeless is helpless. If you are hopeless concerning any situation, you will be helpless in that situation. This is because when you give up on any issue in life, even God cannot help you. You know why? Without faith it is impossible to please Him and without hope there is no faith. If you are hopeless concerning any situation, don't expect any help from God. So, be hopeful. 

There is hope for you! In Rom. 5:5a, the Bible says: "And hope maketh not ashamed..." This simply means that hope puts an end to shame and reproach in life because it strenthens faith and faith brings good report (Heb 11:2). Beloved, no case can be closed except by you. The case is closed only when you're hopeless. Don't let any evil report maim your faith by killing your hope. Be hopeful. 

Develop your hope by feeding on the word of God daily. Don't give up on any issue of concern to you at the moment. Don't give up because of time, your background or because of your location. God can reach out to you irrespective of the time, your background or your location if you can only be hopeful. Study God's word more than ever and be prayerful! You shall testify, in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Any depression that wants to bury your hope is cast out of you today, in Jesus name!

While in prayer yesterday, the Lord said to me that year 2023 is going to be a year of massive financial breakthrough for us in the Morning Tea Devotional Family.
