TEXT: "And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all" (1Sam 30:8)

I want to assure every lover of MTD that our appointed testimonies for this month will surely manifest in Jesus name. God doesn't joke with His words. It He says it, He's equal to it. Pls watch out in expectation, you will experience what you've long waited for, in Jesus name.

To see the above prophetic word come to pass in your life, you must be ready to follow the footsteps of David who got his testimony in the midst of a discouraging situation (Pls take time out to read 1Sam 30 for better understanding).

Like I said two days ago, testimonies always happen when we know the right things to do and do them. To facilitate your testimonies, do the following as we mentioned so far: "Believe in the ability of God, Be desperate to enough get your answers and Avoid discouragement.

What more can we do to facilitate our testimonies? Let's examine the story of David in today's anchor scripture. What did he do in his seemingly hopeless situation?

"And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all." 

Dear child of God, there are different types of prayer. The one that produces testimonies faster is the one David engaged above. This is type of prayer that you ask God for the way out. The Bible says: "You ask and receive not because you ask amiss (Jam 4:3). It is time you stop asking God to do something for you and ask Him what you need to do to get out of that situation. What should I do? Shall I pursue this troop was David's prayer point? This is the kind of prayer that guarantees testimonies in any situation.

However, prayer coupled with fasting is a platform for securing favour from God. Queen Esther told Mordecai to engage in a fast with her and her maidens for three days. After the fast, she received favour from the king (Esther 4:16-17; 5:2-3). Favour is reserved for those that will heartily engage in this MTD Holy Ghost inspired 14 days fast.

Nehemiah obtained favour from God while in a fast (Neh 1:4-11). After fasting and prayer, Nehemiah went to the king with his petition and the king resisted not because the Hand of God was upon him (Neh 2:4-11). Favour of God will speak for you this month because the Hand of God shall come upon you heavily during and after this fast, in Jesus name!

DAY 7 PRAYER POINTS:

1: Father, this month, supernaturally meet the needs of everyone in the Morning Tea Devotional Family in Jesus name.

2: Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree an end to every oppression in our lives.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
