ALTERNATIVE IS AN ENEMY

TEXT: "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Heb 12:2)

Pressure inevitably comes at some points in our life. For instance, you could find yourself in an impossible deadline like bills to clear or rent to pay, you could find yourself in a financial need, health challenge, ministry challenge or marital issues, etc. The weight of the things we carry can at times appear to be beyond us and look impossible to overcome. And when pressures of life find their way into our life, they seem to cloud our vision of God and we're left with alternatives.

Hear me child of God, having alternatives to solving your present challenge outside God's provided solution is to create more problems to yourself. You will not fall victim, in Jesus name. 

When you have alternatives to solving the present challenges of your life is like saying: "God, let’s see if you can get this done, otherwise I have another option to consider." Other options may seem good but the end result is a disaster. The Bible says: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Prov 14:12). God wants to be our plan A to Z. He wants to be the only one on our consideration list. He told Moses categorically in Exodus 20:3: "Thou shall have no other gods before me." Beloved, if you think God is not capable of bringing solutions to your concerns in life then, it’s time to take your eyes off Him completely. Maybe do it your way instead because God won’t show up when He knows you only consider Him an option.

Will God jump down from heaven to provide solutions to our challenging situations? No. Does He use men? Of course yes, He uses men He chooses as channels to bring solution to us. The truth is that we can’t focus on two destinations. It’s impossible. You can’t drive to two places at once. And that is exactly what you are attempting to do while looking unto men and expecting solutions from God. We say we are looking unto Him, yet that enticing channel pulls us off our course. Please guard yourself against this and what seems impossible to you now shall suddenly turn around! I'm a living testimony of this. You're the next!

PRAYER: The Bible says: "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed." That shame will not come, it is averted today, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
