TEXT: "Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep" (Jonah 1:5)

By the prompting of the Holy Spirit, I still want to shed more light on how association can determine the outcome of our life. It is important that we examine this again because one wrong association can alter any destiny. No matter what you have acquired or the height you have attained in life, one wrong association can bring you down to zero. You will not be a victim, in Jesus name. The people the ship in today's anchor scripture lost all their belongings because of one wrong man in the ship with them. Someone rightly said that: "Your friendship is your life-ship." So, who do you carry along in your ship as you journey in life?

Beloved, no matter how good you are, you will soon become bad if you keep bad friend(s). The scripture makes it clear that: "Evil association corrupts good manner/destiny (1Cor 15:33). A wise man said something that I will never forget; he said that: "what you will become in five years from now is determined by the kind of book you read and the kind of association you keep. Don't let the association you keep keep your destiny down. We all have one life to live. Don't sacrifice yours on the platform of wrong association.

Jesus had to pray all through the night to choose His disciples. You must be careful who you call your friends. Friendship is by choice and not by force. My question to you this morning is, who are your friends? What is the need of a relationship you know will end you in a pit? Beloved, come out from among them today and be ye separate! (2Cor 6:17).

PRAYER: You're free from any wrong association that is keeping your life and destiny down in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
