TEXT: "And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed..." (Matt 14:19)
Still on the story of the feeding of five thousand men, today's anchor scripture revealed that Jesus blessed the five loaves of bread and the two fishes before giving them to the disciples to share to the multitude. The implication is that for anything it multiply it must first be blessed by God. Jesus received the five loaves from them and blessed it. There must be first a seal of God's blessing on anything that will multiply. The Bible says, "and God blessed them and God said unto them....multiply..." (Gen 1:28).
You need to make up your mind today to always commit your time, your talent and your substance to God's Hand for a seal of blessing from Him. I want you to know that there is no effort from you, me or any man that guarantees 100% multiplication without blessing of God. I urge you this morning to commit your life, your money, your business, your career, to God for His seal of blessing which will in turn results in supernatural multiplication.
To be more specific however, lets narrow it down to financial multiplication today. The covenant way your money and my money can receive a seal of God's blessing is by giving our offerings and tithes - one-tenth of our income to God without being forced to do so. If we are truly surrendered to God then everything we have is His. After all, what do we have, that has not been given to us? God is the owner of all that we have, we are merely the stewards of it. That's where tithing comes in. Giving Him the first 10% of our income to God is like saying: "God, this is just giving You back what’s already Yours. Thank You for the other 90 percent you let me keep." What a good and generous God we serve!
We must always remember that God owns all that we have, our bodies, our homes, our money, our children, our jobs, our possessions, etc. Tithe is literally to give a tenth of one’s income to God. One tenth is the minimum He demanded of what He blessed us with. Pls note that when you pay your tithe, you are not paying it to man. So, stop looking unto man for your blessing of multiplication. Jesus, the One who receives them is the only One who has the power to bless it for multiplication!
PRAYER: I pray for the outpouring of the given grace upon everyone of us today for unstoppable increases in Jesus name!
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
