TEXT: "And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten" (2Chro 20:22).

I welcome you to a week of victory in any battle you may be facing at the moment. As you lift your voice in praise unto God Almighty, victory is yours, in Jesus name.

The first place in the Bible where praise is mentioned is at the birth of Jacob’s son, Judah in Genesis 29:35. The meaning of Judah is praise. Anywhere you see the name Judah in the Bible, it always means praise. Revelation chapter 5 verse 5 tells us that our Lord Jesus, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah (praise) has prevailed! So many people walk around in fear of the enemy because there is no enough praise. Whether it is the devil you fear, your own thoughts or your next door neighbour, we often walk around being afraid of our enemy and what he/she could do to us because God is absent in our lives and it is because we're praiseless.

Non-priases men and women often worry about their enemy who walks around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1Pet 5:8). Please note that the enemy walks as a roaring lion. He is not a lion. He is an imposter. He has no power. Genuine praisers know that their Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Jesus) has already overcome every single enemy that may come in their paths.

A genuine praiser can never be stagnated. He/she is always on the move. Judges 1:1-2 says: "Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand." God told Judah (Praiser) to go in first to the enemy. Praisers will always overcome the enemy.

King Jehoshaphat "appointed singers unto the Lord, that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever." The choir went ahead of the warriors! Beloved, it worked. The enemies were defeated and Judah never even had to take out their swords!

How many battles do we needlessly fight; drawing our swords of worry, our shields of fear, and our words of war? What would happen if we simply trusted that the Lion of the Tribe of Judah has already won the battle? What would happen in our lives if we put away our warring words, and lifted our voices in praise unto God? Praisers are overcomers.

PRAYER: Your victory over that enemy is established today and forever, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
