POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS

TEXT: "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in  earth, and things under the earth" (Phil 2:9-10)

Let me begin this morning by saying that as children of God, we have been loaded with divine Power to knock satan out of our lives. But do you know you can still be molested by the devil if you don't know how to trigger the release of this Power? Every child of God who is filled with the Holy Spirit is like a riffle that is loaded with bullets. A soldier who is armed with a loaded riffle can still be molested by his opponents if he doesn't know how to operate the gun. This is the case with many Christians today. We are loaded with the Power that is above all powers and yet many are still suffering the affliction that is caused by the devil and his demons.

No, no more!

There are ways to trigger the release of the Power of God in you for victory over the devil and his cohorts. Let's examine one today.

1. USE THE NAME OF JESUS.

First among these ways is the use the of the name of Jesus. The Bible says the name of the Lord is a strong tower...(Pro 18:10). This is the name that Peter called upon and the crippled man walked (Acts 3:6). At the mention of that name, there was an eruption of Power and the man who was crippled from birth rose up and walked. Hallelujah! The name of Jesus is a strong tower, when you invoke it in faith, Power goes forth for you.

Pls be aware from today that the name of Jesus is not a title or a conjunction between prayers. The name of Jesus is a possession. That is why Peter said, "such as I have..." You must see the name of Jesus as your possession for it to work for you. At that name, satan and his demons tremble. When you call upon it in faith, signs and wonders are released (Acts 4:30). The name of Jesus answered for Peter with signs, wonders and miracles, it will answer for you too.

Today, I want you to look at that challenge in your life right now and with faith command a change in the name of Jesus. It has worked for me severally, it will work for you today, this week, this month, this year and always.

TODAY'S ACTION STEP:

* Rebuke all unwanted situations in your life and command a change in the name of Jesus right now.

PRAYER: I decree that whatever you command in the name of Jesus today will answer for you speedily, in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
