TEXT: "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High" (Psalms 92:1)

If there's anything you and I must crave for this month as we give God genuine praise is the blessing of the Lord. This is because, as I mentioned yesterday, it guarantees struggle free life. The blessing of the Lord is so powerful that a man with it prospers in whatever he does under God. The Bible says: "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful...And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper" (Psalms 1:1-3).

Another reason why the blessing of the Lord is so powerful to be craved for is that it makes us indestructible. The meaning is that any man or woman who is enveloped with the blessings of God cannot be destroyed. How do I know? The Bible says: “…Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it….” (Isa 65:8). This simply means that the blessing of the Lord guarantees our maximum protection from the wicked ones. This kind of blessing is provoked by genuine praise unto God.

What more can I say? The blessing of the Lord empowers you and I to prevail where others travail. Jesus Christ is the blessing of God personified. He has travailed for us as a Lamb. We need not to travail again as long as we focus our eyes on Him via praise. Praise is much more than just singing and feeling good! This is why the Psalmist says "It is a good thing!" (Ps 92:1).

PRAYER: I decree that by the blood of the everlasting Covenant, you will not die untimely. You are preserved and protected, in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
