TEXT: "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high" (Luke 24:49).

We give thanks to God for seeing us through the month of May, our month of Open Heaven. I have no doubt that those that put the word of God to work during the month must have experienced their own portion of open heaven. There are those that have sent in their testimonies of God confirming the word in their lives. If you have not sent yours pls do because testimonies are weapons of perfection in the hands of the believers. Your constant open heaven is a settled matter by the mercy of God, in Jesus name.

What is God's agenda for us this month of June in the Morning Tea Devotional Family? The Bible says that angel Gabriel came to Mary in the sixth month and said:

"... behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and  bring forth a son, and shalt call  his name JESUS...Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall  overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God" (Lk 1:26, 31-35).

This implies that for us to achieve the unachievable, accomplish the impossible and manifest the unimaginable in our journey on earth it takes Power. It takes Power for us to rule and reign in this wicked world. Our dominion on earth answers to the Power of the Holy Spirit that is at work in our lives. In fact, Christianity without the Power is a frustrated religion. No matter how religious you are, Pharaoh will not let you go without the demonstration of God's power in and through your life. Your education, grammar or money is not a threat to him, only the Power of God is.

In view of the above, June 2022, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family is our month of: "POWER" (Luke 1:26-35). This month, as we journey together through the pages of the word of God, I see the power of the Highest overshadowing you to live an overcomer's life in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
