TEXT "There is therefore now no  condemnation to them which  are in Christ Jesus, who walk  not after the flesh, but after the  Spirit" (Rom 8:1)

An atmosphere of praise is an atmosphere of wonders. The Bible says: "Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" (Exo 15:11). However, we must not be ignorant of the devices of the devil to keep us off the praise frequency. This has been our focus for some days now. Today, another enemy of praise we examine is: "CONDEMNATION." Even though God has forgiven us, most of the time we don't accept His forgiveness completely or we fail to forgive ourselves.

Many people today, especially Christians are living in condemnation. Even though God has graciously forgiven them, they cannot forgive themselves and this results in the feelings of unworthiness. This feeling blocks their confidence to praise God from the heart. Stop condemning yourself, God has not condemned you. The Bible says: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:17).

This attitude of condemnation develops when someone becomes overly conscious of himself or herself, instead of being conscious of God. If we are constantly weighing our hearts with a negative attitude, always searching for weaknesses and guilt, we will definitely find them. This critical self-examination is extremely unhealthy, beloved. It always focuses its attention on the ego and not on Jesus.

This is why the Bible admonishes us to "look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith" (Heb 12:2). The more we look unto Jesus, the more we desire to praise Him. The more we think of Him, meditate on Him and occupy our thoughts with Him, the more we desire to praise Him. Beloved, stop focusing on yourself and weaknesses and focus on Jesus so that you can praise Him from your heart without the feeling of condemnation.

PRAYER: Be free from the spirit of condemnation today and forever, in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
