SPIRITUAL APPROACH TO PHYSICAL SITUATIONS

TEXT: "...This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals" (Matt 14:15)

The impossible can be made possible when we stop seeing our situations from the physical point of view and see them from the spiritual point of view. The promises of God to us His children are spiritual, not physical. What that means is that spiritual promises of God to us require spiritual resources and approach from us for fulfillment. Impossible situations in our lives require spiritual solutions. If we can seek for spiritual solution to our situations, what seems impossible will definitely become possible. The reason is because, the spiritual controls the physical.

We see the different approach to the same situation in today's anchor scripture. Both Jesus and the disciples were confronted with the same situation (Feeding of the multitude who were hungry and wornaout), but they came up with different solutions. The disciples came up with a physical solution. They said: "send the people into the nearby towns to buy themselves what to eat." Jesus came up with a spiritual solution. He said: "Tell them to sit down, He gave thanks to God and what was humanly impossible was made possible. The spiritual approach of Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed five thousand men beside women and children.

Beloved child of God, we are all confronted with humanly impossible situations all the time. The truth is that every promise of God to us is humanly impossible to be fulfilled and so it requires our spiritual approach. I admonish you this morning to top seeking physical solutions to your situation and approach it from the spiritual point of view like Jesus did and that situation shall turn like a dream of the night!

PRAYER: Every impossible situation that is confronting you at the moment shall turn to testimony of possibilities this week in Jesus name!
