TEXT: "Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" (Exo 15:11)
Welcome to a week of wonders without number in the MTD Family. Your testimonies of wonders shall manifest before this week Saturday, in Jesus name. Today, I want us to still examine what we enjoy when we engage genuine praise to God. The scripture reveals to us that praise is a spiritual platform for receiving fearful blessings from the Lord. And it is the blessing of the Lord that makes us rich, multiplies us and changes our stories, with no sorrow attached to it (Prov 10:22).
The blessing of the Lord is so important that Esau had to weep for it. He wept sore saying, "My father, my father, don’t you have just one blessing for me?" (Gen 27:38). Just one blessing from the Lord can change your life forever. Destiny is the function of blessings imparted. There are too many blessing-dry lives today that are struggling with self efforts with little or nothing to show for their efforts. Beloved, blessing is one of the greatest asset of destiny. Wherever you find greatness in the kingdom of God, at the root of it is imparted blessing.
Knowledge may empower you; it is blessing that will position you. Jacob said, "I won’t let you go until you bless me." The angel answered and said, "What is thy name?" He said, Jacob. The angel said, "Your name shall no longer be Jacob but Israel" (Gen 32:26). He was repositioned via the blessing. If there is anything you and I need most to have breakthrough unlimited, it is the blessing of the Lord. To live a sorrow-free life, the blessing of the Lord is the secret.
I like to remind you also that this blessing is available on the altar of genuine praise. This is because, every time we praise God, we are blessing Him. Psalms 34:1 says "I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth." Praise is a channel through which we bless God. Whatever good thing any man does, the same he shall receive from the Lord (Eph 6:8). So, by blessing God, we are provoking His blessings on our lives too.
The blessing of the Lord empowers us to live a struggle-free life. It brings riches beyond sorrow (Prov 10:22). As you praise Him from the heart this month and beyond, I see God decorate you with inexplainable and undeniable blessing in Jesus name. This is what I call fearful blessing!
PRAYER: By the grace of God on my life, I decree that your struggle in life is over today, in Jesus name!
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
