POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS

TEXT: "As for thee also, by the blood of  thy covenant I have sent forth thy  prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water" (Zech 9:11).

Another effective way to release the Power of God against all oppositions is by taking cover in the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is called the blood of the New Covenant which has the capacity to free all prisoners of the devil. "After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me" (1Cor 11:25). I don't know what has held you captive hitherto, as you are reading this devotion this morning, you are declared free by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

According to scripture, the life of the flesh is in the blood (Lev 17:11). This means, when you apply the blood of Jesus, the Lord Himself appears on your behalf to defend you. When the blood of Jesus is invoked by faith, when the enemies come against you, instead of seeing you, it is the Lord Himself they will see over you because the life of the flesh is in the blood. Be aware also that the blood of the covenant exempts you and me from molestation, shame and reproach. "And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you.." (Joshua 5:9). This statement was made after the circumcision of their foreskin and you know that in circumcission, blood is involved. So, if the blood of man is that powerful to remove reproaches, how much more the blood of the everlasting covenant - the blood of Jesus.

Satan's ultimate aim is to kill his captives (John 10:10), but the blood of Jesus has power over death. "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you,.." (Ex 12:13). No occultic sect in existence today without a blood connection, but the Bible says that he that is from above is above all. This means, the blood of Jesus who is from above is above all blood covenants put together. It is time we take cover under this blood. As long as you remain under this blood cover, you are inaccessible and unmolestable. 

PRAYER: That shame, reproach, terminal disease in your life has come to an end today by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
