THE GIVING POWER

TEXT: "But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that  giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his  covenant which he sware unto thy  fathers, as it is this day" (Deut 8:18).

Another power to engage to humiliate the demon of poverty and wretchedness in one's life is what I call: "The Giving Power." This is the power behind kingdom wealth. Today's anchor scripture calls it Power to get wealth. The power to get wealth is a product of the giving power. This power enables a man to lay down without being forced or coarse to do so. This power is important to have because, until you lay things down for God, you cannot take things up from Him. Jesus said: "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again" (John 10:17). In this verse of scripture, Jesus said that the reason why the Father loved Him was because He (Jesus) possessed the power to lay down. This means that you can secure the love of God for yourself and your generations yet unborn on the platform of giving.

It is the power to lay things down for God that provokes the power to receive things from Him. You don't receive because the power to lay things down is not working in you. Jesus says in verse 18: "No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again..." If nothing goes up from you beloved, don't expect anything to come down for you.

For you to enjoy kingdom prosperity, you must be an addicted, tireless covenant practitioner in tithing, offering and giving to people, especially those in the household of faith. When the giving power comes upon you, you will no longer feel pain to give and that's when the power to get wealth starts to manifest in your life. You get angry when they talk about giving in the Church, when you read about giving via MTD or when you see someone who is in need around you because you lack the power to lay down. From today, the power to lay down is coming upon and you shall begin to command plenty in Jesus name. This is the secret of Abraham's blessing. He was willing to lay down Isaac, his only son and he won the heart of God. You can enter into the same generational blessing today.

TODAY'S ACTION STEP:

* Give something to God and His work today however small and watch what will happen thereafter.

PRAYER: The power to lay down so as to enjoy plenty is coming upon you now, in Jesus name!

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
