TEXT: Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened" (Lk 3:21)

We give glory to God Almighty for keeping us throughout this month of May, our month of Open Heaven. It has indeed been our Open Heaven season indeed with various testimonies as proofs (Some of these testimonies will be posted one of these days). Your testimonies and mine shall be permanent, in Jesus name. If you haven't experienced your own, it will come before the day is over, in Jesus name.

We started this month by saying that one of the proving secrets that opens heaven over any man is prayer. The difference between Jesus and the other people that were baptised was that Jesus prayed while others didn't. I will like us again to see the reason why you mustn't quit praying if you will see your heaven opens as we round off for the month.

Every blessing you will ever desire on earth is in heaven, you only need to pray in faith and the heaven will be opened for its release. The devil knows this very well, the reason why he would do anything to hinder you from praying to God. He would send distractions or sleep any time you want to pray. The Bible says we should: "resist him (the devil) and he will flee" (James 4:7). Prayer is the key to open heaven, use it and receive all you desire that your joy may be full.

Elijah needed the earth to yield her fruits, so, he prayed again and again till heaven opened and gave rain and the earth brought forth her fruits (James 5:18, 1Kings 18:42-45). When Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings to God, God didn’t just give him anything; He said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?” (1Kings 3:5). Solomon asked for an understanding heart to be able to judge the Israelites wisely. God gave him his desire and then added riches and honour to prove to him that He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (1Kngs 3:9-13; Eph 3:20). Esther prayed and heaven opened for her and granted her unusual favour before the King (Esther 4 & 5).

Prayer indeed is the answer to all our needs. When you pray from the heart, heaven opens, pouring out upon you whatsoever you may have asked of the Lord. Therefore, whatever may be your need, pray fervently like Elijah, in the name of Jesus and you will continue to have open heaven and your joy will continue to be full.

This is where we shall conclude the theme for the month. I appreciate your reading, sharing and support, we shall all be rewarded, in Jesus name.
