TEXT: "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble" (James 4:6)

Let's continue from where we stopped yesterday as we look at the second key point on how to avoid a closed heaven. I believe you wouldn't want the heaven over you to be closed, if that be the case, then, you must take heed to this point:

(2) DO NOT GIVE IN TO PRIDE
Success can become suicide depending on how you handle it. The Bible says that pride goes before a fall (Prov 16:18). Once you allow pride into your life because you are succeeding and climbing to the top, you will soon start falling down. But I pray that you will not fall victim of this, in Jesus name. The Bible says: "The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honour" (Prov 15:33).

You must realize that every good thing you have and will ever have is a gift from God. God is incredibly gracious and has given you so many strengths and talents. But if He so desired, He could take these gifts away. The reality of this truth should bring you to your knees before the Lord at all times. Remain humble!

Remain humble and submissive to your leaders, to your parents and to elders if your heaven must remain open. Avoid talking to people with arrogance. Treat people with respect and dignity. Don't boast about your achievements and wealth. Don’t look down on people because you are up there. Keep a low profile and keep pride and arrogance out of your life.

The way up beloved, is down. Humility is the way to the top and the secret to remaining there. He that pours water into the hands of another shall himself be honored because another shall pour water into his hands. It is servanthood before mastership. You must be a disciple before you can become an apostle. Learn to serve no matter how God is blessing you. With this attitude, your heavens will continually open.

PRAYER: Grace to remain level-headed in your walk with God and and people is yours today, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
