TEXT: "And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him" (Gen 22:2-3)

There is one important part of Abraham that I will like us to examine this morning. Abraham, a man who was blessed by God in all things, whose life is worth emulating, was a man of obedience. I find out that obedience to divine instructions is not enough, timely obedience is what counts before God. Obedience is an act of faith. To increase on every side, you must be a man who dive into divine instructions. 

God spoke to Abraham in today's anchor scripture to sacrifice his only son as a burnt offering to him. Abraham didn't consult anybody, he rose early in the morning to go sacrifice his son to God. That is timely obedience. Dear child of God, if God who knows all things is telling you to do something, give something or go somewhere, promptly do it, give it and go there because delayed obedience is still disobedience before God. 

You must be aware that anytime God gives you an instruction, it is because He is set to bless you, just obey and do it. Some people have no devil worrying them at all; disobedience is the cause of their challenges. Don't let disobedience stop your showers blessings. The dryness in and around you may be as a result of an instruction you have ignored. Stop asking God questions and just obey the instructions you receive from Him. 

If you are waiting for complete instructions or you are waiting to understand with your five senses, you may not obey. God may not give you all the details but He will give you enough instructions for you to obey. Whatever God tells you, make sure you dive into action. Whatever God demands of you to provoke a downpour of rain of multiplication in your life this month, do it without delay.

PRAYER: There shall be a downpour of rain of multiplication in your life this month and beyond, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I shall continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
