TAKE THE STEP OF FAITH

TEXT: "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went" (Heb 11:8)

As we round up for the month of April 2022 today since tomorrow is the review of the week, I give glory to God on your behalf and in behalf of all lovers of MTD Worldwide for preserving our lives and all that concerns us all through the month. His Name be praised forever, in Jesus name. 

I want us to examine another key that opens doors that I must not fail to mention as we close this topic today. Please note that we are closing the topic of Open Doors today but its blessings shall continue in our lives, in Jesus name. So, be expecting your own doors to open if they haven't.

I will like to use an automatic door to illustrate how to always enjoy open doors in your journey in life. My prayer for you this morning is that any door that has refused to open for others shall begin to open for you from now on, in Jesus name. The Bible says: When others are saying there is a casting down (No job, no money, disappointment, failure, delay, hardship, suffering, etc), you and I will be saying there is a lifting up" (Job 22:29 - My emphasis). This shall be your new song, in Jesus name. 

Now, I believe we have all seen and walked through automatic doors at various places. I mean the automatic doors you find at various stores and offices. These doors open on their own accord because they have an electronic eye and they can sense movement. These doors don't open until they sense movement. In the same way beloved, maybe all that is left for you to do is to simply walk right up to the door that was shut against you before to know whether God is going to open it or not. God may not open a door until He sees you walk right up to it just like an automatic door will not open until you walk towards it. God may just be waiting for you to make that move before you can enter into that opportunity. Perhaps He is just waiting for you to take that first step of faith.

Martin Luther King Jr said: “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Take that first step. Wake up and go to that place you were once turned down. You don’t have to understand how; you just have to take that first step of faith. Noah took that first step when he started building an ark to survive the flood when they had never even seen rain. Can you imagine how crazy that must have seemed to everyone? David was just a young lad when he faced Goliath. But he took that first step of faith and walked out to face him. Abraham took that first step of faith when God told him to leave his father's house not even knowing where he was going.

Your miracle might just be waiting for you to take the first step of faith. 

PRAYER: The Lord will go with you today and the door you have been knocking shall open for you in Jesus name.
