TEXT: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Prov 14:12)

I want to start by saying that it is a common way to think that any opportunity that comes to you and looks promising is from God. But, is every opportunity a "God open door?" As I pointed out yesterday, the answer is NO.

I mentioned yesterday that divine open doors/opportunities will not contradict the Word of God. The truth is that God will not be involved in anything that does not honour His word. He will not violate His standard to meet our needs, no. He will not put us in a position where we have to do sinful things to maintain our position or status in life. Hear me child of God, if an opportunity requires you doing dishonest and sinful things, then God is not involved in it, it is not a door that He opens. He wants us to live above reproach. Even in prosperity, God knows how to prosper us the right way. We are the ones who become impatient and run ahead of Him.  Whatever God does will always be supported by His word. He will open doors and clear paths without you having to compromise His standard to make it happen.

So beloved, don't turn God's word upside down to justify your circumstances and to suit yourself. That is not how God works. If there is a compromise in any way, or you have to bend scriptures to justify that open door or opportunity, then it is not from God. Anything that requires your compromise is a temptation from the devil and its aim is to lure you to hell.

The word of God clearly says that God doesn't tempt us. "When tempted, no one should say, God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed" (Jam 1:13-14). Divine open doors will not require your moral compromise. Pls take this very serious!

PRAYER: Receive grace to overcome that temptation that is knocking at your door right now. You shall not fall for it, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
