TEXT: "A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it" (Luke 8:5)

This month of April is our month of Open Doors drawn from the book of Revelation chapter 3 verse 7-8. I believe we all know that words are seeds. The harvest from any seed depends on the soil on which it is planted. As Jesus interpreted this parable to His disciples, He pointed out that the good ground (good soil) speaks of honest and good heart (Read it in Lk 8:15). Our hearts must be prepared to enable the seeds produce bountiful harvest.

Cathrine Khulman said in one of her books that when she gets to heaven, she will find out why some people received miracles in her crusades and why some didn't. Well, Jesus provided answer to her question in Luke 8:5-15. As God leads us, this week we shall be examining these types of heart and how they can affect our Open Doors positively or negatively. I pray that as the Holy Spirit opens us up to these secrets, fresh open doors that will launch us to our next level of breakthrough shall manifest, in Jesus name.

Here we go:

1: THE HEART BY THE WAYSIDE (Lk 8:12).

The New Int'l Version of the Bible puts it as seeds along the path. "Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved" (Lk 8:12 - NIV). A path is a place where anybody and everybody can pass through. The implication of this is that anyone with this type of heart receives anything, hears anything, have all kinds of friends, goes to all kinds of places, says all kinds of things, gives in to anything, etc.

When a seed of the word of God is sown in this type of heart, it can easily choke or be stolen by the devil. Such heart has no guard. It is proned to fear and doubt. For example, when people with this type of heart receive a word of God for their healing, the moment they hear news of how people died from the same illness, doubt their healing and embrace fear. In such situation, the word of God cannot produce in their lives. 

Beloved, as you have received a prophetic word of Open Doors this month, don't believe the devil that tells you things will still be the same in your life. Hear me: The job will come, the marriage will hold, the favour will be released because it is your season of Open Doors. Believe it, hold on to it and don't doubt. 

PRAYER: You will not lose your miracle to doubt and fear this month in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
