TEXT: "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalms 46:10).

Another word I want us to examine today is the word "KNOW THAT I AM GOD." The meaning is that you and I must come to the awareness of what God can do for us in times of difficulty. Lots of people today are not sure of what God is able to do for them when they face challenges. No wonder, they run up and down looking for solution where there is none.

Beloved, it is what you know that puts you above that situation. When you know, you cannot be low. It is not how many places you have been, it is what you know about God that guarantees solutions. That's why the word KNOW-L-EDGE means what you know gives you an edge over situation and challenges of life.

The word KNOW in today's anchor scripture also means CONFIDENCE. This is the knowing that made the Hebrews boys to say to king Nebuchadnezar (We will not bow, do your worse - Dan 3). They knew beyond doubt that God is able to save them. They were not afraid of the king or his fiery furnace. So, it is what you know that determines your faith or fear. The truth is that God will not show Himself for the fearful, ignorant and the cowards. Be confident of God can do in difficult situation even if you don't see help in view.

The knowledge here is not head-knowledge, it is heart-knowledge that guarantees change of story. What God looks in you to determine His response in your time of trials is what you know in your heart. He respond to your heart knowledge and never your head knowledge.

Today, we shall draw the curtains for the month of June, our month of The Help of God.

PRAYER: You shall not lack the help of God in your life, in Jesus name.
