THE FORCE OF TESTIMONY

TEXT: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony... ” (Rev 12:11).

Another way to provoke God's supernatural help in your life is by proclaiming His doings in your life. This is called testimony while other people call it praise report. David used this weapon to bring down the head of Goliath in 1Samuel 17 (Pls read the entire chapter). Facts about testimonies or praise reports are, they exalt the name of God and His faithfulness. And do you know what? God always shows Himself wherever He is exalted. Testimonies or praise reports are proofs that God is still in the business of carrying out His wonders among men. They prove that God does what he says He would do. Testimonies give birth to other testimonies by building up the faith of the giver and the hearer(s).

When you proclaim the doings of God in your life, your faith is increased to provoke God’s acts again. The present challenge that was like a mountain to you suddenly becomes flat and every fear and doubt vanishes.

I have made praising God my lifestyle. It has given me peace and I am sure of a glorious future no matter the challenges I face today. Testimonies are weapon in the hands of a believer. If you can look at that challenge in the face and tell it how great God is, what happens is, God comes on the scene to validate what you profess Him to be. Many people today specialise in talking to God about their challenges. The more you talk about that challenge, the more it is magnified. Don't talk to God about how terrible your challenges are but talk to your challenges how powerful God is in delivering you.

PRAYER: That challenge you currently face shall give birth to testimony in your life this month, in Jesus name.
