TEXT: "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalms 46:10).

One of the instructions Moses gave to the children of Israel when they were facing difficult situation was for them to stand still. "And Moses said unto the people, fear not, STAND STILL, and see the salvation of the Lord...for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever" (Ex 14:13). Whatever that represent Egyptians in your life, after today, you shall see them again no more forever in Jesus name.

For God to stretch forth His helping hand in your life, you need to be still. The word 'still' is a translation of the Hebrew word 'rapa' which means 'to slacken, to let down, or to cease.' We often take the word "to be still” as “to be quiet in God’s presence.” Well, quietness is certainly helpful, but the phrase here means to stop frantic activity, to let down, and to be quiet within. You need to be quiet on your inside to pave way for God's intervention. God has something to say to you in every difficult situation, it's your quietness that guarantees access to those instructions.

"Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you" (2 Chr 20:17). This was the word of God to Jehoshaphat. As he obeyed the word of God by standing still, an inspiration on what to do came and their enemies fell flat. Do you want to get your enemies cheaply? Be still and what to do will be revealed to you!

PRAYER: The instruction that will turn your trial to triumph shall be delivered to you this week, in Jesus name.
