THE FORCE OF THANKSGIVING

TEXT: "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1Thes 5:18).

I welcome you to another week of testimony. God who called me for this assignment will show up for you this week and your testimony of the help of God will manifest, in Jesus name.

There are forces that naturally attract God to you when they are activated. One of such forces is the force of thanksgiving. Let me ask you this thought-provoking question: Can you honestly say that God has never helped you before? You mean He has never ever helped you to come out of a situation that seemed to swallow you up? Now, if He has, have you genuinely thanked with your words and actions? Have thanked Him for the helps you prayed about that came and those you did not even pray about, yet it came miraculously? If He has ever shown up for you in time past, take a moment right now and from the bottom of your heart, thank Him.

If God would help you this time, you must show to Him that you're grateful for the last help He rendered to you in anticipation for the next one. Also, you should rejoice in His ability ahead of time by telling Him thank you for what you’re expecting from Him which is yet to manifest. It is higher demonstration of your faith. The Bible says: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done” (Phil 4:6 (NLT). If you will let this scripture guide you this week, you will be amazed at the supernatural help you will receive.

Take out time today to thank Him for all you have enjoyed from Him. Greater help awaits you this week by doing so. 

PRAYER: The Lord shall flood your life this week with reasons to remain grateful to Him, in Jesus name.
