UNFORGIVENESS IS AN ENEMY

TEXT: "And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept" (Gen 33:4)

One of the pillars of our Multiple Celebrations this is year is the restoration of our lost years, lost opportunities, lost relationships, lost blessings, etc. But I want to let you know that unforgiveness is a major enemy of restoration. You must guard against this so as to be restored fully this year as promised by God. Refuse to allow yourself, Satan or even your perpetrators to continue to victimize you. In today's anchor is the story of the reconciliation between Esau and his brother Jacob. 

It is true that nothing can truly hurt us other than the way we react to our hurts. Your attitude and actions are crucial if genuine healing is to occur in your life. With God’s help, you can truly forgive the one who has offended you. My dear, to continue to live in anger or to maliciously rehearse the hurtful situation to your friends or colleagues is counter-productive to your spiritual well being. 

A refusal to forgive the person that offended you, even as God for Christ sake has forgiven you handcuffs you to a life of self inflicted torment.

Hear what the Bible says: “Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due to him." Jesus then said: “So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses" (Matt 18). It is a Bible principle that one reaps what he/she sows. How much better then to reap mercy in life by showing mercy to others.

Forgiveness may be optional, but the consequences are not. It is a prerequisite to your restoration. It may be hurtful, but its gain cannot be quantified! Release that man or that woman from your heart now and you will see God's true restoration in your life that will usher you into Multiple Celebrations.

"Pls note that forgiveness is not possible without the life of Christ in you. If you're not yet saved or along the line there is a disconnect between you and God, your life is in danger of hell and you need to surrender or rededicate your life to Jesus today, tomorrow might just be too late. PRAYER: Receive grace today to let go the offense and the offender, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
