TEXT: "And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil" (Deut 33:24).
I welcome you again to year 2022. It is a year we will not forget in a hurry because strange works and strange acts of God shall be the order of happenings among us in the MTD Family.
Sometime last year, while studying and praying, the Lord flashed the above anchor scripture into my spirit. What are you saying Lord, was my thought and He told me concerning all of us in the MTD family that we shall enjoy worldwide acceptance in 2022. This means, we shall be widely connected.
However, few days to the end of the year, the Lord came to me in a dream of the night and told me clearly that 2022 shall be our year of Celebrations. While meditating on this, the Lord explained to me that we shall be celebrating the fulfilment of the above anchor scripture for the year. Details of this as the year progresses.
Beloved, it is a good thing to have cause to celebrate. The opposite of celebration is to mourn. It is not a pleasant thing to be in a state of mourning. No one hopes and prays for a day of mourning. No one prays for any situation that will bring pain, sorrow and sadness to his/her life and family. Rather, we are all anticipating and looking forward to our day of celebration. If you are single for instance, the day of celebration you are looking forward to is the day of your wedding. For a married couple who haven’t yet had a child, the day of celebration they are believing God for is the day they will be blessed with a child. The day of celebration a student is looking forward to is the day he or she will graduate. I want to boldly declare today that if you're single, you shall celebrate your wedding this year. If you're trusting God for the fruits of the womb, you shall celebrate the arrival of your children this year. To the businessmen and women, you shall celebrate divine connections for business breakthrough this year. Whatever it is that you're trusting God for, it shall announce your celebration this year 2022, in Jesus name.
We must understand however that it is not every celebration that is from God, it is not every celebration God is pleased with. For instance in 1Cor 10:7, the Israelites were celebrating, but immediately after that celebration, thousands of them died because their celebration did not bring honour to God. I pray for you today that any celebration or breakthrough that you will have to commit sin to have or compromise godly standards to get, may God keep far away from you, in Jesus name. But the celebration that will make people say concerning you that surely you are serving a living God, such celebrations will fill your life and family this year, in Jesus name.
In view of this, year 2022, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family, is our year of MULTIPLE CELEBRATIONS (Deut 33:24; 1Sam 2:1).
Congratulations!
