THE PRINCIPLE OF FIRSTFRUITS

(DAY 5 OF PRAYER AND FASTING)

TEXT: "Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine" (Prov 3:9-10)

I want to introduce to you a principle that I, many others and probably you know and practice. It's called "Firstfruits." This is a mystery that have launched many into realms of unending supply. It is a mystery because some or maybe you don't want to hear about it and it is because thy are ignorant of the blessings it carries. It is a mystery that many have different interpretations to. It is important to talk about it now because we are in the first month of our year of Multiple Celebrations. Those who are exposed to this mystery have gained mastery over lack and want in life. It is a principle I've practiced and discovered it works.

Your firstfruits is the income that first come into your hand in the new year. To a salary earner, it is your first salary. To a businessman/woman, it is your first gain and to those looking for job or student, it is the first gift that you receive in the year. The Bible says you should honour God with it. That is, give it to God. To some they give it all and to some others, they give a part of it to God and this is aside the tithes. When you do this, you are telling God that He is the source of all you will ever need for the year.

Beloved, your salary is not your source. Your business is not your source. Men are not your source, they are only a channel through which God's abundance flows to you. You must see God as the only source. Giving Him your first income or part of it to God for the year aside your tithes proves that you are counting on Him, and can I tell you this? He cannot fail you. But Pst, how will I feed, how will I pay my house rent or my children school fees? The answer is in verse 10: "So shall thine barns be filled with plenty..." If you have used yours already, package another one, the scripture cannot be broken, you will swim in the realm of supernatural supplies in Jesus name. How do you go about it? Take it to your church, your Pastor or someone who is a source of spiritual blessing to you. As you do this,  I welcome you to realms of unending supplies this year 2022, in Jesus name!

However, when you pray and fast, the Holy Ghost reveals things to you and He shows you what you need to do to activate your multiple celebrations this year. This revelation by the Holy Ghost is called light and when light comes, darkness disappears. Light transforms and drives away anything that is associated with darkness in our lives. Prayer and fasting causes our spirit to be sensitive. Too much of food is a hindrance to spiritual sensitivity. The more you love food, the more your spiritual sensitivity is hindered. Light is the answer to darkness. New things happen by light. Light helps us to see things better. When light comes, solution has come.

PRAYER: I pray for you this morning, your solutions have just arrived, in Jesus name.

Note: Our prayer focus for Day 5 is that God should open up to us secrets that will herald our celebrations this year, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
