TEXT: "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off" (Prov 23:18)

I welcome you to our week of open heaven dimension of favour. Someone, I mean you, shall be favoured this week in Jesus name - Amen. 

I want us by the Spirit of God, to look at a very important principle that we must apply if our heaven will open and remain so. This principle is the key that releases the resources of heaven. This principle is called Positive Expectation. It is the breeding ground for miracles. You will recall the story of the lame man at the beautiful gate in the book of Acts chapter three. The Bible says precisely in verse five that this man was expecting to receive something. Hear me child of God, you can only experience what you expect. Expectation is the determinant of experience. People experience things according to what they expect. What is not your expectation may not be your experience.

If you want your heaven to open, you must constantly expect it. The Bible says: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Heb 11:1). One of the dynamic products of our faith in God is positive expectation. This is because, you cannot be negative in your expectation and experience good things in life. It is positive expectation that fertilises your faith. Someone defines hope as: "a positive expectation of something good happening to you." Faith is impotent without hope. As strong as faith is, faith is indolent without positive expectation.

So beloved, you need to have what I call "an outstretched neck" when it comes to receiving from God. Staying in a constant state of expectation is critical to seeing the end of our faith. My admonition to you therefore is, "Don’t give up no matter what bill you need to clear this week/month. Don't mind what your bank account looks like right now. Stay in faith and expect God to show up. I encourage you this morning to command the floodgates of heaven to open to you through your expectation and you shall experience it.

PRAYER: This week is declared as your week of open heaven dimension of favour, in Jesus name. 

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
