TEXT: "Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw vision of God" (Ezekiel 1:1)

I want to start by saying that open heavens is a state where a child of God gains access into heaven while on earth. The truth is that someone can be in the Church for many years, dedicated and committed to the service of God and still remain under a closed heaven. But that will not be your case, in Jesus name. When heavens are closed, man starts to experience hardship, scarcity, barrenness, lack of progress, failure, disappointment, etc. In a nutshell, life is meaningless and valueless until one begins to operate under open heavens.

There are many blessings we enjoy when heavens over us are open. One of such blessings is "Visions and Revelations." In the word of Ezekiel in today's anchor scripture, he said:" Now when I was in my thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was in the midst of captivity beside the river Chebar, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. "The implication of this is that when the heavens over you are open, you will begin to see and hear what God wants you to see and hear. You will begin to flow in revelation and vision. You become a man/woman of open eyes and open ears. You begin to know God's opinion for your life. This means you can never be misled or fall into the traps of the enemy.

This Prophet was in captivity, an unpleasant situation, yet the heaven over him was opened and he saw a vision of God. What you are going through now may be similar to what this Prophet went through. The good news is that your own heaven is opened from now and you shall begin to flow in heavenly revelation and vision that will give you direction. The Hebrew word for captivity here means exile, uncover, expose, stripped. The meaning is that the captivity that this prophet was in left him exposed, stripped and uncovered. He was not in desirable circumstances. In fact, things were not favorable for him at all. Yet, in the midst of this turmoil the heaven was opened and he saw visions of God.

Halleluyah!

Are you going through a situation that has left you exposed, uncovered and vulnerable? I have good news for you: "Your eyes shall open this month. Your ears shall open and you will never be confused or stranded of divine revelation and direction anymore, in Jesus name."

Congratulations!

PRAYER: Your heaven shall continually open for free flow of revelation and direction, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
