TEXT: "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it" (Mal 3:10)

I will like us to dig deeper into the word of God to find out how to keep the heaven over our heads open. We found out yesterday that when the heaven over someone is closed, the good things that are supposed to be in his life will not come, instead he starts to experience the opposite. So, my beloved, there is need for us to know how to keep our heavens open.

Today's anchor scripture clearly stated that our tithes can move God to keep the windows of heaven open over us. God said: "...prove me now herewith, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." This is God speaking and He means every bit of it. Don't fall for the people that say tithes belongs to the Old Testament folks. This is one of the tricks of the devil to keep people poor.

Tithe is one-tenth of all your income. What comes to you as a gift, gain, salary, pocket money is not all yours; one-tenth of it belongs to God and it is non negotiable. As to where to pay your tithe, it is clear in the scripture that we are to bring it into the store house (where we draw our spiritual strength from), that is, the house of God. Pls note that you are not to use your tithe as a free will offering. Tithe is tithe and offering is offering. Tithe is the force that opens for you the windows of heaven and keeps it open.

One major step to prosperity is tithing. The tithe belongs to God. "And the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD" (Lev 27:30). God promises that if you faithfully tithe, He will open heaven over your life and abundantly bless you (Read today's anchor scripture again). That verse of the Bible also means that if you do not tithe, the windows of heaven will not open for you.

Read this testimony:

Tithe is God's command with promise and God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. Practically speaking I have experienced abundance through tithing, I have experienced good health without visiting hospitals for years via tithing, I have experienced peace of mind, success and answered prayers by obeying the Lord through tithing. I have also experienced the opposite by not obeying this principle, and this is because of fear of ability to meet up with other concerns that the Lord says we should cast unto Him for He cares for us.

In a nutshell beloved, I have never seen anyone who trade with the Lord and lose. God doesn't owe us. His desire is to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory. We are not talking of earthly reward alone, but heavenly treasures, domain where canker-worms, devourer and caterpillars can't reach. So I employ you to obey the Lord in everything, because He is the provider of what we possess and moreover we can't hide anything from Him.

PRAYER: The heaven over you shall not be shut, in Jesus name.
