TEXT: "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1Thes 5:18).

I welcome you again to our month of Victory. I want to begin this topic today by saying that life is a warfare, not a funfair, a battle ground, not a play ground. It may be full of challenging situations for you, but I want tell you not to consider giving up on God as an option. Yes, you may have had difficult days, months or even years when life just doesn't seem to be going the way you desired it. Perhaps you're going through a long period of joblessness, sickness, loneliness, financial struggles or challenged marriage; yes, the struggles  and frustration can be so overwhelming. But in all these, the Bible says 'You are more than conquerors.'

My dear, struggles in life are inevitable but destruction from life's struggles is optional. There are principles we must remember in all these challenges that will strengthen us to continue and never to quit because quitters don't win. Let's examine them with the first today.

(1) Remember that your character must be stronger than your circumstances in order to overcome them. You may not be able to control what happen to you, but beloved, you can control how you choose to respond to what happens to you. Instead of complaining about your challenges, you can choose to give thanks to God for the good part of your life and soon the bad will start to lose relevance.

Choose to keep positive attitude and thankful heart regardless of what you are going through. You will overcome.

PRAYER: Your victory over that battle is established today, Jesus name.
