TEXT "Think about all he endured when sinful people did such terrible things to him, so that you don't become weary and give up" (Heb 12:3 NLT).
Life is a battle ground. It is a battle between light and darkness. But the good news is, the victory has been decided to favour you. When things get tough, be ready to fight the harder! If you fight the harder, you'll win, and you will get greater victories, in Jesus name!
Someone said: When the going gets tough, the tough gets going! John Paul Jones said "When his ship was sinking, most of his crew were slaughtered and his own arm nearly torn off. Then the enemy asked him if he was ready to surrender, but he screamed back, 'Hell, no! We haven't even begun to fight yet!' And he was right! He won the battle at the end.
Maybe you haven't even begun to fight the devil yet! Maybe you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin like Jesus did. Even though He died, only three days later He rose in triumph from the tomb! The kind of soldiers who win victories are the ones who refuse to quit fighting! So beloved, be not weary, in due season ye shall reap if ye faint not (Gal 6:9). Be ready to endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, that you may please Him Who hath chosen you to be a soldier (2Tim 2:3). When you fight the good fight of faith, there will be a crown laid up for you! (1Tim 6:12; 2Tim 4:7-8).
I pray that God will help you and me to be faithful to the end! Jesus told John: "Be faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life!" (Rev 2:10).
PRAYER: You shall not be defeated in life and destiny, in Jesus name.
