TEXT: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
Life's challenges can be overwhelming, especially when you don't know what else to do. Is this your experience? I understand how it feels. I pray for you this morning, what you are going through now will soon become what you have been through, in Jesus name.
Are you still thinking, I don't know how I could ever get through this storm. Or you may be battling with the feelings of despair, confusion, fear, worry, and anger. These are all normal responses to difficulty when you are not properly guided from the scriptures. As raging as the storm of life may be, you are not alone. God is with you always. He loves you, and cares about what is going on in your life. He hears your cries and sees your pain.
You may feel as if your whole world has been turned upside down and wonder how you can possibly survive the storm. In times like these, you can feel very much alone! Beloved, I want you to know that you are not alone. In the midst of that storm, God is with you. Even if you don't feel Him near, He's there. He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. Therefore, wherever you are, God is. He is with you before, during, and even after the storm.
Never lose sight of God. Even as you ponder how you will begin picking up the pieces of your life, God is there, loving you beyond understanding, holding you up, and making a way where it seems there is no way. Reach out for Him today. He is a very present help in times of trouble.
PRAYER: That trouble of your life is over today, in Jesus name.
