TEXT: "A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation" (Ps 22:30)

Glory to God for another week. Your life shall be full of all round profits this week, in Jesus name. 

I want to remind you today that serving God is the most profitable endeavour one can engage in life. This truth cannot be overemphasised. Do you want to enjoy continous profits and live profitably in this life? Then consider serving God as one of the pathways to achieving this. The Bible says: "If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures" (Job 36:11), that speaks of all round profits. Yes, kingdom stewardship is the most profitable venture as it does not only pay, but pays the most and the best. This is because it offers incomparable dividends and out-of-this world order of blessings. The Bible says: "And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil" (Exo 23:25-26).

I want us to examine one of the amazing benefits of serving God. We understand that godliness is to live for God in totality through unreserved obedience and commitment to divine instructions and unrelenting service to both God and humanity. The Bible assures us that it is profitable unto all things, that is, it is profitable to all areas our existence. It confers the blessing of God on us both spirit, soul and body.

Hear me child of God, godliness, which is a life of service to God, is the gateway to generational prosperity. It is written: "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed" (Ps 112:1-2). Great delight to the service of God does not just promises us blessing in return but also guarantees an extension of that blessing to our children yet unborn. What profit is it to see our children grow up to have the same experience that we have? The best way to secure their destiny is by serving God. Serving God and His interest as a way of life secures the blessing of God upon our lives and it also transcends to our generations yet unborn.

If your profits in life will outlive you, then serve God wholeheartedly, committedly, joyfully, faithfully and alwaysly. You are securing your posterity by so doing!

PRAYER: Receive grace for tireless and qualitative service to God, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
