TEXT: "He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us" (2Cor 9:11 - GNB).
God wants us to seek Him and think about His kingdom in virtually everything we do in life. When you ask God to bless you, is it for the promotion of God's kingdom or for self gratification? God always looks at the motives of our heart to determine the release of His blessing. He knows whether or not you are thinking primarily about yourself or for the purpose of His kingdom when you ask Him to bless you and increase you.
Remember that God blesses you so you can partner with Him in promoting His kingdom and to be a blessing to others and God knows
whether or not this principle is rooted in your heart. I want to remind you again this morning that God gives you all His blessings not for you to enjoy them all alone but so that you can be a distributor of them in many ways (Read today's anchor scripture again). There are some things you are to pass down to your children and their children after them. Other things you are to distribute to others who need them. God has given you everything you have and everything you are so you can be a blessing to other people around you. That's the primary reason for the blessing of God on your life. Pls don't ever forget this.
Someone has said that our lives should be channels and not reservoirs. A reservoir stores water; a channel distributes it. God wants us to be channels of blessing to others. We are only stewards of the resources we have. They are not ours; they are God’s. When we find our security in Him, we can then give generously from what He has entrusted to us. This is our Christian duty, and the true believer gives with a cheerful heart (2Cor 9:7). Once you understand that everything God gives you essentially belongs to someone else and you act so, God will start to give you more! Those blessings belong to Him, and He invests them in you so you can bless someone else.
How has God blessed you? How are you using this blessing for others? Is there a way you might bless someone this very day with that which God has given to you? Don't hesitate to do so. For instance, if God gives you a house full of new furniture or another car, don't sell the old one and don't call people to ask if they want to buy it. Give away the old one and do it to glorify God! Tell them God told you to bless them because He blessed you! This act will make you to enjoy abundance of blessings from God in return.
PRAYER: I pray that God makes you an answer to someone's prayers today, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
