TEXT: "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come" (1Tim 4:8)

There's no regret whatsoever living for God. It profits us in so many ways both in this world and in the world to come. Apostle Paul says: "Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise (godliness) is much more important, for it promises a reward in both this life and the next" (1Tim 4:8 NLT). Many believers today still don't believe the physical realities of the profits of godliness. Some believe godliness is only spiritually profiting, in the sense that it makes one closer to God and to work rightly in his ways. But there are scriptural provisions of the physical profitability of godliness. These we started to examine from yesterday.

In addition to the profits mentioned yesterday, I want us to examine another one today. 

One major benefit of godliness is our access to revelation. A godly person is the one who has the Holy Spirit giving him/her revelations of answers and solutions to issues of concern in life. Even things that are beyond human comprehension, this is because there is a kingdom mystery that is accessible only by godliness. "And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables" (Mark 4:11).

This means, revelation gives you and I access to the secret things of God. The Bible says: "The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant" (Ps 25:14). Only the godly has access to the secret things of God. Many of the things we suffer for in life is as a result of our ignorance of what to do. God said: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). Not lack of prayer because we have many people today who pray in ignorance. When you lack the knowledge of what to do to be free from your predicament, you remain in it. But what guarantees our access to this knowledge is godliness. When you are full of God, what answers to God answers to you. Hallelujah!

Revelation is the bedrock of all round profits. The godly is guaranteed access to this. The revelation of the truth about God and His plans for us, makes us successful, and godliness gives access to this. Revelation from God will at all times, breeds turn-around for anyone any day. Godliness is profitable. It pays off in this life and in the life to come. So be determined to live for God. You will find that as you do, your profiting will be visible to all.

PRAYER: The confusion over that issue in your life is receiving the light of God today, solution is coming to you before this month is over, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
