TEXT: "And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee" (Exo 23:25).

Dividends of serving God simply means the profits, gains or benefits we enjoy by our service to God. It pays to serve God beloved. It pays the best, it pays the most. Serving God and the interest of His kingdom guarantees unmatchable returns. The meaning is that no institution, no organization or government can offer you what serving God procures. It is always remains the most profitable endeavour in life. God does not and cannot owe anyone who serves Him faithfully. God is not a user of men, He is always on the lookout for men He can raise through service. He is a rewarded of them that diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6). May He find you, in Jesus name.

However, it is not all service one renders to God that guarantees profitable returns. There are certain conditions one must meet to make his/her service acceptable. This means that, until our service to God is acceptable to Him, no reward is guaranteed. Apostle Paul said: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" (Rom 12:1). There is a service that is reasonable, this is what guarantees rewards.

What are the qualities of acceptable service to God? Your service to God must possess certain ingredients. Let's examine one of these ingredients today. 

1. SERVE GOD JOYFULLY.

Until your service to God is done with joy and excitement, it will not attract any benefit from Him. Please know that how we serve God matters to Him. The Bible says: "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:" (Heb 12:28). Don’t serve God in depression. Don't serve Him with grudges. Don't be forced to serve God, because whatever that is not done cheerfully will not attract the blessing of God. This is so important. 

When our service to God is acceptable to Him, what do we stand to gain? We gain freedom from afflictions. Anyone that serves God genuinely is naturally free from the affliction of the devil, be it sicknesse, disease, pains, suffering, disappointment, etc. For example, Moses was in active Kingdom service to God and the Bible records that at one hundred and twenty years, his eyes were neither dim nor his natural force abated. "And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated" (Deut 34:7). Also, as long as the twelve disciples were with Jesus serving, none of them was reported sick. This means our active service to God entitles us to divine health, vitality and longevity.

PRAYER: Your service to God shall launch you to realms ceaseless breakthrough this month and onwards, in Jesus name. 

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
