Hosea 10:12b "...for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you."

As we round up the teaching for the month today on Abundance of Rain, I will like to point out that what causes the righteous(You and I) to flourish is not
how smart or intelligent they(we) are but it is due to the showers coming upon them(us) from an opened heaven! You flourish as long as the heaven over you remains opened.

When heaven was opened and the Holy Ghost came down upon Jesus in River Jordan, He began to flourish and the Bible says "His fame went abroad" (Lk 4:1-2,14). He flourished like the palm tree and grew like the cedar in Lebanon. He brought forth fruits until the very last minute to validate the scripture that says: "The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing" (Ps 92:12-14).

The showers of heaven are responsible for the flourishing of the righteous. It's the showers, not his strength or his smartness, or his ability. I see the showers coming upon you like never before, in Jesus name. However, the key word mentioned in today's text is "it is time to seek the Lord."

Beloved, it is time to make seeking the Lord a way of life and not something to be done only in times of desperate need.  God’s Presence is worth pursuing diligently day in and day out. How do we seek Him? Seek Him in righteousness, prayers, word search, worship, service, etc. The more we seek Him, the more we enjoy continuous downpour of showers of rain.

PRAYER: You will never see dryness in your life again, in Jesus name.
