1Kings 18:41 And Elijah SAID unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat  and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

From scriptures, we understand that there is a hidden power in man that works for him any day and anytime whether he knows it or not.
It is called the power of spoken words. Unfortunately, many don't know this, they misused this power and are caged thereby.

I want us to learn from Elijah. There was dryness everywhere, hunger was staring at everyone in the eyes but Elijah provoked a downpour by the power of a spoken word. He said unto Ahab, there is abundance of rain. Beloved, what are you saying?

We must be aware that what we keep on saying about ourselves is what we eventually become in life. You are a product of your words. Proverbs 18:21 says: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” Power to create life or death, dryness or downpour of rain, riches or poverty, healing or sickness, etc, is in your tongue.

You may not have power over the atmosphere but you are an author of your environment. The meaning is, you 'may' not have power to change what is happening in your nation, office, business place, but you have the power to determine what happens to you there via your words.

There is power in your tongue, use it wisely. The words of God in your mouth are God's instruments to you to create your own world. That is what Elijah did. Don't speak what is not working, speak that which you want to see working in your life and the power of God will cause it to work.

PRAYER: You're free from the effect of negative words in your life today, in Jesus name.
