1Kings 18:42 "So Ahab went up to  eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast  himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees."

Let me start by saying that the way you respond to what you hear will determine what happens to you.
That you hear a sound of rain is not enough, you must mind how you respond to it. Many are good hearers but poor in response. Hope I'm not referring to you! We need to align our actions with what we hear from God in every situation.

Both Elijah and Ahab in today's text responded positively to what God was about to do. Elijah responded by going to the mountain and Ahab responded by feasting. At the time that Ahab was feasting, no sign of rain yet, but he never allowed that to bother him. He believed that what God said through Elijah is going to happen.

Beloved, you can not receive your miracle when you're downcast. Elijah told Ahab to get up, eat and drink. He did and what followed was a downpour of rain. God asked me to tell you this morning to get up from that depression, frustration and pity and start to celebrate your expectations. Ahab demonstrated his faith in God and the prophet by organizing a feast to celebrate the yet-to-come rain. Hmm, until you celebrate miracle ahead, you may not embrace it.

Rom 4:20 said: "He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God." Abraham celebrated Isaac before he was born. You can either choose to do the same or continue to murmur and complain. The truth is, those who celebrate their expectations ahead always embrace their reality.

PRAYER: You shall embrace your miracle this season in Jesus name.
