1Kings 18:1 "And it came to pass   after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth."

God said: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hos 4:6). Ignorance is
worse than any disease you can think of. Ignorance of what to do has caged many destinies. Ignorance of covenant practices has kept many in poverty and so on. Ignorance is what we must fight against to move to our next level in life this year.

It is important we know the source of rain of blessing that has been reserved for us this month. This will help us to maximize every word that will come from this medium this month.

I like you to know that the source of rain of blessing as pointed out in today's text, is God. God spoke to Elijah, "go and show yourself to Ahab, and I (God) will send rain on the earth." Elijah knew he was not the one that would cause the rain to fall. He knew the source and this propelled him to announce to Ahab the coming of rain in verse 41. If you can see God as the source of rain, I guarantee you that your life shall be soaked with abundance of it.

Rain speaks of blessings, victories, promotions, favour, healing, and all that you desire from God. The Lord is set to rain down upon us those things that will make life comfortable us.

I want you to look unto to God as the only source of provision to all you needs from now on. Your boss, uncle, aunt, friends, etc, is only a channel through which God the source will bring to pass His promises. If you can see God as the source, you will escape the shame and reproach.

PRAYER: You will not see that shame, you will escape that reproach because God is showing up suddenly in your life, in Jesus name.
