1Kings 18:1 "And it came to pass   after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the  third year, saying, GO, SHEW THYSELF UNTO AHAB;  and I will send rain upon  the earth."

More often than not, God's instructions are always unconnected to our needed solution (Jn 2:5).
God told Elijah, go, show yourself to Ahab! What has that got to do with sending rain to end the drought? But Elijah obeyed.

Beloved, what are the instructions of God to you? Which one have you obeyed? Or are you just sitting and watching because it is not in line with what you expect, like Naaman?

"So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou  shalt be clean" (2Kings 5:9-10). Just like that?

What was his response?

"But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and  stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand  over the place, and recover the leper" (2Kings 5:11).

How many are like this man today? Beloved, God has more than one million ways to end that drought. So, stop questioning His methods.

Thank God for Namaan's servant who prevailed on his master.

"Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean" (2Kings 5:14).

Don't be a victim of disobedience. Carry out that instruction because in it is your abundance of rain.

PRAYER: Receive grace for prompt and delightsome obedience in Jesus name.
