Deut 28:12 "The Lord shall open unto thee his good  treasure, the heaven to  give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of  thine hand..."

Let me start by saying open heaven is the cure to earthly dryness.
You can never run dry when you're operating under open heaven. When heaven opens, rain comes down. When the heaven over a man becomes closed, he cannot receive the rain of God. You must ensure that your heavens are not closed and becomes brass, else, all your efforts would be in vain.

There are keys that keep our heavens open and prayer has been one of these keys. As simple as it sounds, any time you pray unto God in the name of Jesus in faith, the windows of heaven always open for you and rain down whatever you have asked for.

Many of our apportion blessings from heaven will not manifest until we get desperate over our situation through persistent prayers and more importantly with fasting. Read these scriptures below:

"Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, AND PRAYING, the heaven was opened" (Lk 3:21).

James 5:17-18 "Elias was a man  subject to like passions  as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might  not rain: and it rained not  on the earth by the space of three years and six months. AND HE PRAYED AGAIN, and the heaven gave  rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit."

There is no more effective way for us to trigger a release from heaven than to pray in the name of Jesus! In these crucial times, with dryness and drought in so many areas, we desperately need rain. God desires to send us what we need. So, my beloved, let us pray until it rains!

PRAYER: I pray for you today, your heaven shall continually open in Jesus name.
