Zach 10:1 "Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field."

Last week I mentioned that the season of rain is always a joyous season for every farmer.
According to scriptures, there is the former rain and the latter rain. The latter rain is the rain that helps farmers to harvest their crops. This is the season that determines their harvest.

Do you know what this means to us? It means this season is also our harvest time. It is time for you and I to harvest our blessings. From now, we shall be sweeping and gathering the blessings of God. That is what God is saying, and He can never lie.

Number 23:19 "God  is not a man,  that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he  said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it  good?"

But how do we provoke the rain of God's blessings in our life? The Bible says: "Ask ye of the LORD’S Rain..." This means, it takes our asking to provoke showers of rain. If we don't ask, we won't receive.

James validated this by saying: "You do not have because you do not ask" (James 4:2). So, the first key that provokes showers of God's blessings upon our life is to ask Him for it. That speaks of prayer.

Can you spend some moment today to ask God to send His rain on your life? I can assure you, you will be drenched with the rain. We shall talk more on this tomorrow.

PRAYER: Your prayers today shall provoke a heavy downpour of rain of blessings on your life in Jesus name.
