Deut 28:12 "The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow"

I welcome you to February 2020.
I believe that we all had specific encounters with God and His word as individuals in the month of January especially the series on prayer and fasting and because whatever the Lord does shall be forever, I pray that your encounters shall be permanent, in Jesus name.

What is God saying to us in the MTD Family this month of February? While seeking His face to know His agenda for us for the month, the above text flashed into my spirit.

We all understand from agricultural point of view that the land, no matter how fertile it is, cannot produce a desired harvest without the downpour of rain from heaven. Efforts to make the ground yield its fruits will be fruitile unless there is rain to water the ground. In the same way, our hands, skills, without God's downpour of rain of blessing is not enough to produce the results we need in life.

All of our effort, intellect, and connection can never replace our need for the showers from God. This is why we must desire the rain that comes from heaven this month as this will determine what happens to us in the year.

In view of this, February 2020, in the MTD Family, shall be our month of "ABUNDANCE OF RAIN" (1Kings 18:42). I pray that your life will be drenched with this rain that it will result in an undeniable testimonies in your life, in Jesus name.
