1kings 18:41 "And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain."
There is much to learn from Elijah. One important element to Elijah’s life that I want us to examine today is
his boldness. He was a man of boldness. His bold speaking is worth emulating. He did not just obey God's instruction, he also echoed it boldly to Ahab.
Elijah's declaration to Ahab showed clearly his boldness of faith. God only spoke to him in verse 1 to go and show himself to Ahab and that He (God) would send rain on the earth. Elijah believed God that He would do what He said and was bold enough to declare it to Ahab.
My dear, Satan can not gain access to your life until he has held you bound with the spirit of fear. The antidote to Fear is Boldness. You cannot end the drought in your life without Boldness. This was the secret of Elijah. It takes boldness to conquer and subdue in life.
"...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me" (Heb 13:5-6).
If that rain will fall in your life this season, say it boldly. Don't keep mute over that issue. Declare thou, that thou mayest be justified (Isaiah 43:26b).
You have prayed and cried enough over that situation, it is time to speak boldly with the authority of God’s Word. Every challenge will always bow to the authority of the Word. Learn to use the ever-winning tool of bold declaration. Elijah used it and it worked for him, go and use it. It shall produce testimonies in your life.
PRAYER: Every positive declaration of your mouth today shall produce testimonies in your life this week in Jesus name.
