Rom 10:10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
If you will experience the favour of God in your life, you must mind the words of your mouth. Confession is a product of what is in the heart. If you meditate on God's favour long enough, you'll confess it naturally. Favour is not found by following formula. You are not changed by what is in your head, but by what is in your heart. The Bible says “…out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matt 10:34). When you expect and believe God for favour, it must affect both your heart and your words. You are not confessing it is because you are not expecting it.
What you say has the power to release God’s favour in your life. Jesus said, “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mk 11:22-23). To express your faith in God is to say what His Word says. These scripture-based confessions on favour below are examples of how you can confess God’s favour over your life. Confess these daily:
(1) I declare that I am surrounded by God with favour like a shield today (Ps 5:12).
(2) I declare that the Lord is my Sun and Shield. He bestows favour and honour, and no good thing will He withhold from me today (Ps 84:11).
(3) I declare that I am highly favoured in the sight of God and men today (Pro 3:1-4; 8:33-35).
(4) I declare that my enemies shall not triumph over me for the Lord has favoured me today (Ps 41:11).
PRAYER: As you say it, you will see it in Jesus name.
