Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."
Our anchor scripture today makes it clear that Jesus was in favour with God and man as a result of His increase in Wisdom.
This means, wisdom attracts God's favour.Wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. The Bible says: "The fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom" (Ps 111:10). But I want you to know that diligence is one of the pillars of wisdom. What is diligence? Diligence is showing perseverance at whatever one does. In Biblical sense, diligence means a persevering application of the Word of God. Not only does it mean perseverance at something, diligence also requires that we be disciplined.
The diligent will always obtain favour both from God and man. The Bible says “He that diligently seeks good procures favour: but he that seeks mischief, it shall come unto him" (Pro 11:27). God wants to bless you with favour but you must be diligent at what you do! You cannot plead the promises of God and break His principles. If you do the Word of God diligently, it will definitely work for you! Those who are diligent in seeking God, and who are diligent in all their affairs always end in favour.
This month, the favour of God shall open strange doors for us, give us advancements and promote us in the Morning Tea Devotional Family in the name of Jesus. But we must be individually positioned to receive it! Be diligent.
PRAYER: Jesus' order of wisdom is yours today, in Jesus name.
